A message about the School Climate Project

Jamie Batterman, School Climate Project Coordinator

Our goal to reach "Every Child, Every Day, Everyday" is clear. Though our ongoing implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), SBPS strives to create a safe, supportive school climate for all of our students. Grant dollars fund professional development and training in the areas of trauma-formed practices, diversity, restorative practices, socio-emotional learning, drug and alcohol individual and group counseling, and universal screening to identify behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. Data will be utilized to monitor and track interventions and their impact.
